Artist statement: (https://www.instagram.com/p/CjRHwDsvj9l/) Human impact on the oceans over the last 20 years is immeasurable; we are seeing huge changes in our ocean’s temperatures and rising sea levels due to carbon dioxide, greenhouse gas emissions, and plastic pollution. This piece is about community spirit and strength; it’s not too late to put your hand out to offer help. We can all make a difference in our daily lives. No matter how big or small, one small stride in the community can have such a big impact on what’s happening in our ocean, and can also have a massive positive impact on your neighbor's attitude to global change, be the strength in your community and stand tall to help our oceans. - “The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever.“ - Jacques Yves Cousteau.”
