Notes: details below Special thanks to the Keep Hayward Clean and Green Task Force From Koppman on the city of Hawyard's mural site: The vision I had for this mural was to make the building disappear into the trees and grass of the park. It was envisioned to be a 'Magic Garden,' filled with abstract large-scale plants, flowers, and leaves which play visually with the natural landscape, adding color, life, and energy to the space. Also inhabiting the spaces of these murals are several over-sized, playfully designed birds, insects, lizards, and mammals all native to California. The designs include a few hummingbirds, a raptor, two owls, a deer, a fox, a couple of lizards, a Monarch butterfly, and a few dragonflies. https://hayward.maps.arcgis.com/apps/Shortlist/index.html?appid=bdb6cee4d01e4e5c84c5fdc7085a81dc
